There is a book about job hunting that has been published for about 60 years. Do NOT buy it! You will be wasting your money! The author says it might help you, and it might not. It is the same old boring story, telling you to be like everyone else.

My resume for your success is different! It upholds your uniqueness, your personality, as well as your skills, and what you bring to the table. It jolts the individual hiring you out of his/her boredom and into your world of enthusiastic creativity in your resume.

When you are looking for a job, always keep in mind that YOU are the product, and you want those interviewing you to ‘buy’ you.

So, let us begin. How do you do that? By ‘proving’ to them that you are better and of greater value to them than all the other candidates applying for the same position.

The founder of Wal-Mart said, “Find out what your competition is doing and go the other way.” That is what I intend to teach you, and if you follow my advice you will greatly improve the chance that you will get the job you want.

One very important foundational word in marketing and sales: POSITIONING! We will be positioning your resume to be very different than the one- or two-page resumes I am sure you have seen. Your resume will be different. It will catch their attention and focus on YOU because it will be 4-5 pages long. Yes, I did say 4-5 pages.

Here is your cover page placed at the beginning of your proposal:

THE PIROUETTE

From the front, back and center I know her the side view she keeps for her self the center is very rich overflowing seeking definition.

strange behavior honoring strange gods. A vital force swells the muscles. From the front back and center we explore the pleasures. Slowly slowly slowly it happens in the slow motion and she lifts her head and whispers in my ear how can we not believe in what we do not know when everything we know contains such doubt. I look at the curtains and the wind gently. The silence speaks to me, and then again, the pirouette.

From the front and back and center we know each other the side view we keep for ourselves central command loses control and two become a singularity.
