  1. Every time we smile or laugh, we release billions of endorphins from our brain. These are the ‘feel good’ chemicals or hormones we all need and want. So, whenever anyone asks how you are, you can say, “I’m great!” with a big smile. It will help you feel better.
  2. See any movie by Mel Brooks, for example, The Producers. See a movie with Eddie Murphy, for example, Trading Places, or a movie with Bill Murray, for example, Groundhog Day.
  3. A woman bought some fresh broccoli every morning. One morning there was none. After complaining three times, the grocery clerk finally said, “Lady, do you know how to spell man as in mankind?” She said “m a n.” The grocery clerk next asked the woman if she knew how to spell sun as in sunrise. The woman responded, “s u n.” Next the clerk asked the woman to spell fuck as in broccoli. “There ain’t no fuck in broccoli,” she said. “That’s what I have been trying to tell you. We have no fuckin broccoli,” said the clerk.
  4. A zebra dies and is at the Pearly Gates and asks St. Peter, “Am I white with black stripes or black with white stripes?” St. Peter tells the zebra to ask God. The zebra goes to God and asks the same question, “Am I white with black stripes or black with white stripes?” God responds to the zebra and says, “You are what you are.” The zebra goes back to St. Peter and tells St. Peter what God said. The zebra is not satisfied with God’s response and asks St. Peter how he can find the answer to his question. St. Peter responds with, “Well, you must be white with black stripes because if you were black with white stripes, God would have said, “You is who you is.”

Whatever we may face in our lifetime, increasing our endorphins with the use of LAUGHTER won’t change the circumstances of our life; however, it will allow us to face the circumstances of our life in a more positive manner.
